About Alexander
I specialise in helping ambitious students achieve top grades at GCSE and A Level, particularly those aiming for competitive university courses.
My 16 years' experience in secondary schools and 4 years experience tutoring students have delivered excellent UK and international examination results for Cambridge Pre-U and IGCSE, Edexcel IGCSE, AQA GCSE and A Level, DELE B1/A2 for young students, as well as the MML and MLAT exams for Oxford and Cambridge.
I'm passionate about teaching Spanish and French to students of all abilities and backgrounds.
I am reliable, punctual, and organised. I will share suitable materials and provide constructive feedback.

Lessons are tailor-made to your needs, whether you need to focus on a skill (speaking, listening, reading, or grammar/translation/writing) or a topic area (e.g. family and family values, the environment, immigration, Francophone regional identity, Francophone cuisine and sport, sports stars in Francophone countries).

Lessons will retrieve prior knowledge, practise a specific skill, or develop new knowledge. There are plenty of opportunities for games within the lessons, too!
