About Lamson
I have been tutoring since 2016 and have a degree in pure (theoretical) math from Cal State Fullerton. Before joining superprof, I taught math to high school students in an inner city school in LA county. That experience taught me that every student is capable of doing anything they put their mind to and that belief is the north star for our lessons together. My love for math is infectious and I bring that enthusiasm to every minute!

I will meet you where you're at, starting with your strengths and the near-term goals you want to reach. Using a wealth of easy-to-understand examples, I will guide you one step at a time and provide ample support the whole way through. My happiest day is when my students tell me that they no longer need my services because they've achieved the goal that they set out to complete!
What sets me apart is my focus on not just the next homework problem, but on giving you the tools to tackle any math class with confidence. After every lesson, you should feel like you are able to do things that you couldn't do before!
