About Amber

Hello! My name is Aya :))

I was born and raised in rural Japan, but I have spent more than half of my life living overseas, mainly in the United States.

Through my customer relationship career at the Japanese airline, I love interacting with people from all over the world. I am open-minded and always curious about discovering new things.

I love traveling and exploring delicious local food wherever I go. I also like cooking and discovering new cultures through travel.

I am a beginner-level Spanish learner, so I see the language learning journey from the same point of view as you.

About the lesson

What brings you to learn Japanese?

Japanese is said to be the most difficult language in the world requiring 2000 hours while other languages require 600-750! That is why I am here for you to walk you through the language learning journey!

I believe my role is to facilitate your understanding and let you avoid the common mistakes that self-learners make. I have experienced more than 1000 lessons after completion of the Japanese teachers' training. It's my joy when I see the students' progress!

You will learn in a relaxed atmosphere where mistakes are welcome, yet lessons stay professional.
