About Timothy
Hi! My name is Tim. I have spent the past 11 years of my life in and around the world of math education, and the past 7 years as a coach in the math competition circuit! I have a pure joy of teaching math and living the human experience; so, if you choose to work with me, my goal is that I am able to meet you where you are mathematically and you are able to learn something! As a teacher and as a tutor, I like my lessons to be student led. I start with where we left off last lesson, making sure all past content is being retained. Then, if all is well, we can move onto whatever content the student has questions on. I do my best to cater to individual students needs, specifically how they learn, whether visual, spatial, analytical or otherwise; my goal is that YOU understand the concepts. I am available for middle school and high school levels, specifically pre-algebra to calculus.
