About Sarah
I used to teach elementary aged students to middle school students in math, mostly. I really enjoyed it. After sometime, I moved to China to teach English as a second language to kids in Shanghai. While the subject was completely different from math, the students and teaching methods were very similar. I love teaching and learning and enjoy sparking that in others. While I don't teach in a classroom now, I am constantly teaching at my full-time job at an IT company who specializes in HR and Payroll, as well as coaching kids in a multitude of sports. I am a high energy person who loves to learn herself. I like to go into each session with a plan of what we are to tackle for the day with a priority list to keep us on target of our goal. While I have a specialty in mathematics, I also enjoy helping students in all subjects to learn skills that can transfer over to any subject or situation they are in.
