About Alice

With over a decade of experience as a competitive rhythmic gymnast, gymnastics has profoundly shaped my life. I competed at Levels 4 and 5 nationally, successfully balancing the demands of high-level training and competition with my academic commitments. I am now honoured to contribute to the sport as a judge, holding UKCC Level 2 Coaching and Level 2 County Judge certifications.

Alongside my competitive background, I have five years of coaching experience across both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics. I have worked with recreational and squad-level gymnasts, developing my ability to adapt coaching styles to different ages, abilities, and goals. I regularly lead adult gymnastics sessions, supporting participants in building confidence, improving skills, and enjoying the sport in a positive and inclusive environment. I also have experience coaching Level 2 General Gymnastics, further broadening my understanding of gymnastics development beyond a single discipline.

Gymnastics has instilled in me invaluable life skills such as discipline, resilience, and consistency from a young age, while inspiring my passion for the sport’s unique blend of artistry, athleticism, and dedication. As I witness the continued growth of gymnastics in the UK, I am excited to share my knowledge, encourage future generations, and help others experience the confidence, enjoyment, and personal development that gymnastics has brought to my own life.

About the lesson

Sessions start with a warm-up tailored to the participant's needs and preferences. Younger participants will have the opportunity to engage in games and fun interactive activities while more experienced individuals will have more conditioning and technical strengthening exercises incorporated.

In each session we will focus on 3 or more skills from various categories (floor-based, acrobatic, pre-acrobatic, apparatus exercises). Sessions are planned progressively and tailored to specific levels and needs (including physical injury or impairment, or SEN).

Session end with a brief cool down including conditioning and stretches.

Sessions are from 30m - 2hrs.
