About Violet
I have played with dozens of musicians, been on many different stages at gigs around PDX, and have pushed myself to constantly learn new tricks to pull out of my musical grab-bag. I've practiced in the "wood-shed" for so long, at this point, it's my second home. I love recording my own music, staying lo-fi, and finding new (old) music which has nearly been lost in the sieve of time.

Optimally, I want to engage with you in your passions by honing in on your inspirations, as well as your aspiration. I will meet you where you are at, whether that means learning how to feel a basic pulse, or getting nitty-gritty with polyrhythms, polymeters, tuplets, nested tuplets... basically any form of composition, or even a simple groove to get your jams going.
