About Christopher
I was originally planning on attaining a PhD in physics when I was in graduate school at SUNY Buffalo back in the 90's. While working as a teaching assistant however I discovered that my real passion was teaching. I decided to become a high school physics teacher and have been doing it ever since.

As a tutor I focus on seeing things from the student's perspective first, and use that to tailor my explanations.
A typical lesson usually consists of the following basic steps:
I begin with an overview of the topic and important words to know.
I then present the material using words and/or equations.
After that I show some examples.
Lastly I have the student try answering questions while I guide them.
