About Madeleine
I completed the IB Diploma, with a total of 40 points including a 7 (A* equivalent) in Higher Level Chemistry, as well as a 7 in Standard Level Maths. At GCSE I also achieved all 3 sciences and maths, and during my time in Sixth Form participated in GCSE tutoring for students in younger years. I also have experience in tutoring for 11+ students.
I am currently taking a gap year before attending university. I hope to study Dentistry and plan to travel in the new year.
I am enthusiastic and will make an effort to make sessions engaging and effective - I love to see students progress and will go above and beyond to see you succeed. If there is a topic that you are less confident on, I would love to help you to become a world expert on it!

I help students to identify weaker areas of the subject for them and explain concepts in a concise way that can be understood. From there, I provide regular practice of questions on these topics to ensure the understanding is solidified. I believe that the best way of learning is through active recall, therefore sessions will contain a combination of explanation and verbal and written practice for the student. I understand that everybody has different ways of learning, therefore I am easily adaptable to different methods and will strive to ensure that lessons are effective.
I offer hourly lessons during the week to suit you. I can help to prepare for the 11+ test, as well as students from years 10-11 in preparation for GCSE exams.
