About Amber
I started playing softball when I was 5 years old and was forced to quit at age 17 due to an injury. I have played on in-house and travel/competitive teams as well as JV and Varsity High School teams. Majority of my time playing was spent Pitching but I have also played 1st, 2nd, SS, and 3rd base. I was primarily a "clean-up" hitter, meaning I had some of the best stats for hitting the ball, getting on base, and advancing the runners. I also know basic bunting skills and strategic base running skills. I know what it takes to be a utility player and an awesome teammate.

I believe in going back to the basics to ensure that all players have the fundamentals down before moving to something complex. Sometimes you just need a refresher before moving on. I also believe in routines and repetition because it helps you stay focused on the skills you are developing. I want you to have fun and enjoy the time you spend playing this amazing sport. I will encourage you to be the best person and player you can be.

Details
I charge a travel fee of $.50 per mile from my home, but the first 25 miles roundtrip are free of charge. If something comes up and you need to cancel a lesson, please notify me AT LEAST 3 hours prior. I will provide some equipment (softballs, tees, etc.) but please make sure to bring your own cleats/tennis shoes, gloves, bats, etc.
