About Givanna
As soon as I could, I became a tutor for both Spanish and English at my high school. I have had students go from straight "D"s to straight "A"s and "B"s. What meant more to me, though, was witnessing how the kids I tutored started to enjoy our lessons. Not only did I tutor Spanish, but I also tutored English to kids who natively spoke Spanish. I had so much fun doing this, and I was able to prove that I could teach and communicate with students who speak the same language I worked so hard to learn: Spanish!
