About Zarifa

As a tutor, I pride myself on my adabtability, creating a welcoming environment as well as a commitment to excellence. I have been volunteering as a tutor since I was young, so I have quite a bit of experience with it. I believe that people learn things differently, so getting an understanding of how someone learns best is important to me. I try to tailor my teaching style according to the student. My personalized step-by-step approach makes sure students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and improve their performance. With proven experience and strong subject knowledge, I deliver improvement in students' results and learning speed.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Zarifa and I promise to provide an enriching and engaging tutoring experience for you or your kids! I am especially good at teaching Math and Sciences, and I am able to break down tricky concepts into simple steps that are easy to understand. My lessons have a structured format that makes it possible to tackle the problem areas in learning. I usually start by explaining new concepts, then tackling challenging questions from school or provided by me so that students can get practice in all sorts of questions that may be on tests. I also give homework if possible and a small review of the lesson at the end. Contact me for more information!
