About Alisa
Teaching and tutoring is a privilege I have been fortunate enough to provide for learners of all ages and backgrounds for over three decades. I have experience not only as a college-level instructor but also a lengthy background working with middle and grade-school students. Most recently, I was able to assist high school students as a support teacher for students with learning differences. In addition, I have assisted adult learners as an ESL tutor and Continuing Education teacher. Besides my classroom experience, I provided tutoring for countless individuals at all levels. I am never happier or more fulfilled than when I am able to successfully help someone achieve their academic objective whether it be for school, work or as a personal goal.

All of my lessons are individualized to meet the unique needs of the student with an emphasis on varying teaching techniques to accomplish student's goals. My teaching style is for any age or academic level and can be geared toward regular homework support or help with individual projects, papers or test preparation. I also aid in the college acceptance process through SAT/ACT tutoring and college application and essay writing assistance.
