About Sheila

About Me I am a qualified and experienced lecturer with a strong academic background in Law and Business. I hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and I currently teach at INTO University London and Education First Cambridge. With several years of teaching experience, I have supported a wide range of students — from international foundation and undergraduate learners to postgraduate students — helping them succeed in Law, Business, Marketing, and Academic Skills. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical explanations, using real-life examples and case studies to make learning both effective and relevant. I also provide constructive feedback to help students improve their academic writing, critical thinking, and exam performance. I typically offer 60-minute lessons, though I can adapt the length to suit your goals and study style. Whether you are: Preparing for exams or coursework Improving your understanding of Law or Business Getting ready for university study in the UK Or simply wanting to strengthen your academic skills …I will guide you with patience, professionalism, and proven expertise.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to the student’s course, current level and academic goals.

Before our first session, I will ask about your module, assessment requirements and the areas you find most difficult. We will then create a focused learning plan rather than covering topics without a clear purpose.

Lessons may include:

• Clear explanations of legal principles and cases
• Contract Law, Tort Law and Business Law support
• A-level, foundation and undergraduate Law preparation
• Legal problem-question technique
• Law essay planning and structure
• Legal research and referencing
• Critical analysis and academic writing
• Coursework feedback and exam preparation

I use practical examples and case studies to make complex topics easier to understand and apply. My aim is not simply to help students complete one assessment, but to improve their ability to study and analyse Law independently.

A standard lesson is 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when preparing for an examination or assessment.
