About Irushi
I am a Sri Lankan who is currently studying for my master's in Tauranga, New Zealand since February 2024. Before coming to New Zealand, I worked as a Mandarin language lecturer at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka for Engineering undergraduate students. Moreover, I have been teaching at several private institutions in Sri Lanka as a language tutor and the language learning experience I gained in Chongqing, China helped me immensely to become a reputable teacher. As a passionate and friendly tutor, I would like to continue my Chinese language teaching journey here in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The lessons will be customized according to the requirements of the students. The basic Mandarin course will be for 4 months comprised of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Each student will be given individual focus and particularly focused on proper pronunciation which is essential for communicating with the Chinese community. Students will enjoy the lessons as the curriculum will be based on activities.
