I knew I wanted to play the saxophone the minute I first saw one as a child. Few wind instruments provide you with such versatility. Whether it be a jazz, classical, pop, or alternative band, saxophones are welcome. I’ve also always appreciated the fact that the ability to play one saxophone virtually means the ability to play any saxophone.

I believe there are many ways to learn to play the saxophone. Whether it be a theory based approach or technical in focus. I also believe that learning to play does not need to primarily consist of scales and “hot crossed buns” type songs. As my student you will be able to pursue your own unique goals, as well as become proficient on the saxophone.
