I have been working as an AVID Tutor for 2 years now with group sizes that range from 2 to 8 students at a time. I have the most experience working with high school sophmores but I am willing to work with anyone between 6th and 10th grade.

I use the AVID tutorial methodology of helping students understand their confusion and lead them on the right tracks to their answer. When teaching the student how to understand the problem at hand for the first time I can use examples that they may personally find interesting. (ie: Football scenarios for athletes struggling with math)
Current college student working on becoming a teacher himself.
