Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Kashmeer Sigamoney, and I am a qualified teacher with over three years of hands-on experience teaching learners from Grade R to Grade 9. Although I am newly qualified, I have already gained extensive classroom experience through teaching multiple subjects, working with diverse learners, and supporting students with different learning needs. My teaching approach is professional, patient, and learner-centered. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when they receive the right guidance, encouragement, and structure. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify difficult concepts, create engaging learning experiences, and build strong, supportive relationships with my learners. About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is centered on building confidence, understanding, and practical skills in every learner. I combine my recent formal training as a qualified teacher with 3+ years of real classroom experience across Grade R–9 to create lessons that are engaging, structured, and personalized to each student’s needs. My teaching style is learner-centered, meaning I adjust my methods to suit each child’s learning pace and strengths. I use a mix of visual aids, step-by-step explanations, guided practice, short assessments, and real-life examples to make learning easier and more meaningful. What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to simplify complex concepts, keep learners motivated, and create a warm and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. I am proficient in teaching in English, and I can support learners who are more comfortable with bilingual explanations when needed.
