About M
I love spending time helping/supporting young people. I studied Foundation Phase teaching and have been a teacher for 4 years. After completing my studies I was a Maths teacher for Grade 2-3 students in Pretoria. After that, I taught English in China for two years and am currently working at a Pre-school. I enjoyed every moment of traveling and teaching abroad. I believe that academics are important, but having fun and living your life fully is also very important to me. I always try and bring balance to every child. Too much of anything is not good. I will support you in all aspects of your life.

I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans. I aim to provide a fun lesson within a controlled environment. I don't always have the answers to everything, but I believe that is important for our children to learn that if you don't know something, you have to find a way to find the answer. I believe that the process is more important than the end result. I also know that children learn more through practical and fun lessons and I will always try and incorporate this to my lessons. My lessons are aimed at students with various learning levels. I will provide as much support as I can, but remember that you also have to do your best. Tutoring/Teaching can only be fun and productive if the student also gives his/her best.
