About Mamello
My name is Mamello, and I am a third-year Education student at the University of Pretoria. I enjoy working with children and supporting them in reaching their full potential.
I am a patient and dedicated tutor who approaches learning with care and diligence. While I have some experience in tutoring, my background is stronger in teaching, which allows me to support learners in a structured and supportive way. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable and confident to learn.

My approach to private tutoring is centred around the individual learner. The first lesson is used to understand the learner’s needs, strengths, and areas that require support. From there, lessons are tailored specifically to meet those needs.
During lessons, learners are given the opportunity to attempt practice questions independently. This allows me to identify where they may be struggling and where additional guidance is needed. I believe it is important for learners to first try on their own and then receive support based on what they have already done.
Lessons are taught in English and are aimed at learners who may have gaps in knowledge or skills and need extra support. My aim is to help telearners feel confident in their own capabilities to build confidence and understanding.
