About Seamus
I am a fourth year student with an extremely strong grasp of mathematics, particularly in the areas of calculus ,financial maths, probability , statistics, complex analysis and trigonometry. I am a strong communicator and wasn't always a 'straight A's' student in school. I know what struggling with Maths is like and the challenges posed by the vast array of topics presented in Maths courses. Building a good solid foundation is there key to success in any subject, and is particularly true in the case of Mathematics.

My teaching method revolves around the student and what their needs are with respect to a particular topic. I have seen the dangers of simply 'learning off' topics\ conepts as maths courses are becoming more diverse and contextual in their nature. Understanding and trying to grasp a concept and relating it to another area of maths which a student has a liking for is key for me. Again, it all begins with solid foundations.
