About Miya
Hi, I'm Miya, a Chemical Engineering student with strong academic results and experience working at both Unilever and EY. I understand that subjects like Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I aim to make difficult concepts clear and approachable.
Having completed these qualifications relatively recently, I am familiar with the challenges students commonly face. My lessons focus on building confidence, developing strong problem-solving skills, and preparing effectively for exams.
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor sessions to individual needs, whether that involves strengthening core understanding, improving exam technique, or working through challenging questions step-by-step. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

One hour GCSE maths tutoring sessions for y9-y11 students. Questions are key so preferred teaching style revolves around discussing and solving questions together. However, very happy to tailor sessions to individual students. Also offer 30 minute sessions discussing CVs for students y12 and above, based on personal experiences.
