About Aya

A fourth-year medical student with a two-year degree in Physics from Paris Cité University, I have been tutoring students of all levels for several years, helping them succeed in their science subjects (mathematics, physics, and chemistry).

My demanding academic background has enabled me to develop a rigorous, effective, and adaptable work methodology that I pass on daily. Having navigated the demands of high school, the highly competitive medical school entrance process (PASS), and university-level physics, I am fully aware of the common roadblocks students face, the stress surrounding exams, and what examiners actually look for.

My goal is to demystify science, restore students' confidence, and help them build real autonomy. I prioritize an encouraging, attentive, and stimulating teaching approach where concepts are deeply understood before being put into practice.

Whether for ongoing tutoring, targeted refresher sessions, or intensive exam preparation (Brevet, French Baccalaureate, health sciences admissions), I am fully committed to helping each student progress in a motivating and structured learning environment.

Oui, sur le fond ton anglais était déjà tout à fait compréhensible et correct. Il n'y avait pas de contresens majeur, juste quelques tournures un peu calquées sur le français et des entités techniques (", &) à enlever.

My Teaching Approach:

In mathematics and physics-chemistry, struggles rarely stem from a lack of effort; they usually come from an ineffective study method or abstract concepts that are hard to visualize. My approach centers on that "aha!" moment: making concepts tangible, breaking down complex problems, and building strong reflexes for typical exercises and exams.

Who My Lessons Are For:

• Middle School (Math, Physics-Chemistry): Consolidating core fundamentals, building clear reasoning skills, and preparing for the Brevet.

• High School (10th grade, Math & Physics-Chemistry in 11th/12th grade): In-depth mastery of the syllabus, structured problem-solving methods, and intensive preparation for the Baccalaureate.

• First-Year Health Studies (PASS / LAS): Biophysics, chemistry, and biomathematics/biostatistics. Targeted MCQ practice, building speed, and managing high-volume workloads.

Typical Lesson Structure:

Each session is 100% tailored to the student's needs. Generally, we start by clearing up any confusion from class before dedicating the bulk of our time to guided practice using targeted exercises and past exam papers.

Tools & Methodology:

• Interactive Video Sessions: I teach using an iPad with real-time screen sharing to annotate exercises and draw diagrams, exactly like a live whiteboard.

• Handwritten Notes & Summaries: All annotations, diagrams, and solutions are exported as a PDF and sent right after the session.

• Active Learning: I use continuous questioning to guide students through the logical reasoning process themselves, never just handing them the answer.
