About Saima
Hi! My name is Saima Ahmed and I'm a third year medical student at the University of Sheffield. I am tutoring in biology, chemistry and maths at primary, secondary, GCSE level, and A-level. I achieved 3 A*s at A-level in maths, chemistry and biology. I am also very keen to help students with their personal statements, medicine/dentistry interviews and other preparation with regards to university - I can do mock interviews, help you write your personal statement and help with UCAT prep and so much more! I have previous experience tutoring GCSE and A-level, and currently mentor students as a volunteer. My knowledge of the GCSE and A-level curriculum is thorough. I'm really passionate about teaching and helping students. I'm kind, patient and supportive. I am also quite flexible in terms of booking sessions. I will always work my hardest to help you achieve.

My lessons will be primarily focused on what YOU want to do! Whether that involves going through a topic, completing questions or doing a mock exam - I can organise and plan lessons to accommodate your needs. Using different styles of teaching is key - I will use videos, questions, PowerPoints, quizzes and much more. Lessons will typically be an hour long or can be longer if need be. I am currently a third year medical student at the University of Sheffield and achieved 3 A*s at A-level in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I have extensive knowledge of the A-level and GCSE curriculum in these subjects. As well as tutoring in these subjects, I am keen to aid in medical/dental school applications. I can help with personal statements, interviews and other aspects of the application. My sessions are aimed for GCSE and A-level students in subjects of Maths, Biology and Chemistry.
