About Dhruvi
Hello! My name is Dhruvi and I am a fourth year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) student at the University of Toronto. I have been tutoring since I was in high school in various subjects, specifically math and chemistry. I did my undergraduate studies in biomedical sciences at York University and have a passion for biology and chemistry! I am very interested in the pharmacotherapy aspect of neuropsychiatry and aspire to be a psychiatric pharmacist in the upcoming years. I have worked with students ranging from 8th grade to 12th grade to help them in calculus, chemistry, advanced functions, and biology. I’m looking forward to doing my best and helping as much as I can to ease your academic experience!

I appreciate that different students have different learning methods that suit them best. Therefore, I take my time to learn the individual’s personal learning style to adapt accordingly, ensuring the best possible method of teaching is being used. I understand the curriculum and relate to the students to make their tutoring experience as rewarding as possible.
I direct my lessons towards high school students. My experience in being a tutor for this demographic allows me to be a good helping hand in chemistry, biology, math and other related subjects.
A typical lesson plan would include addressing concerns the student may have, acknowledging best possible learning methods, and using my resources to effectively assist the student. I believe that learning is rooted in understanding, thus I emphasize the concepts that will improve the student’s core understanding.
