About Matilda
I’m a third-year Medical Engineering student at QUT with experience in mathematics, physics and biology. Having completed these subjects myself in recent years, I understand the common challenges students face and the expectations of both high school and first-year university courses.
I decided to start tutoring because I know how frustrating these subjects can be when something just doesn’t click, and sometimes having someone explain it from a different perspective makes all the difference.

I aim to create a supportive, relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through problems at their own pace. Whether you’re preparing for exams, tackling assignments, or trying to build confidence in a subject, I’ll tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning style.
I offer tutoring for Year 11–12 Mathematics, Physics and Biology, as well as first-year Engineering Mathematics and Physics. Lessons are available online or in person, depending on what works best for you.
