About Lorena
I love language and using my teaching skills to promote and brake down linguistic barriers. I like to stay busy and motivated through teaching and learning as well. Spanish Tutoring. Tutored experience for 15 years. Have taught various subjects to adults. Looking to tutored in Salinas and surrounding areas.
As a teacher, I mainly taught 4th-5th graders for the Monterey County Migrant Education Program. I taught based on California Standards, but my lessons, as all other Migrant Ed Teachers, we emphasized Language Arts at the different levels even if it was Math I was teaching.
Building and Exposing Essential Vocabulary was fundamental.
