About Edward
I have taught trombone and piano privately for 7 years in Manchester and London and have now recently moved to Oxford.
I have performed at venues and festivals across the UK, Europe and beyond. Highlights include main stage slots at Glastonbury Festival and Secret Garden Party. I am a member of the Riot Jazz Brass Band and also perform with a wide variety of brass bands, pop outfits, big bands and function bands.
My compositions have received regional and national radio play.
-I have a First Class BA honours degree in Music from Manchester University
-Grade 8 Trombone and Piano
-Grade 5 Theory
I am also a passionate producer of electronic music in my spare time.

I am a freelance trombonist and composer based in Oxford who regularly performs throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
I have a first class honours degree in Music from Manchester University and have given private music lessons (trombone and piano) since leaving in 2012.
I am experienced in teaching pupils of all ages and happy to teach from beginner through to Grade 8 and Diploma standard.
I have an open and personal approach to teaching and tailor each lesson to the pupil. I can teach in classical, jazz or pop styles.
We can work towards grade exams (ABRSM or Trinity), focus and develop particular skills such as improvisation or just play and jam together for fun.
