About Derrick
Hi, My name is Derrick. I am a student, majoring in Business Administration. My hobbies include reading and investing. I have minimal experience in teaching besides the times I have spent helping my friends understand the subjects at school. Many people think that I have the ability to turn abstract concepts into something digestible to be both helpful and useful to them, and that is one of the reasons I am confident in my ability to teach. I decided to teach because I thought it would be fun to try different things while also polishing my English speaking skills. I hope to see you in class!

I have a flexible teaching method that I tailor according to the abilities of the students. Lessons could either start off with introductions and casual conversation or go straight into the topics of discussion, depending on students' preferences. I will be recapping the materials what was covered at the end of every class. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I am well-articulated and have the ability to simplify complex and abstract ideas to make them understandable. I can teach students of any level, I have taught elementary school students and university students alike.
