My teaching method relies on the interests of my students. However, I also love to anchor my lessons to cultural studies, such as music, art, cuisine, and literature. During more formal and structured lessons, I format my lessons to allow students to relax and visualize the topic before producing writing or speaking exercises. However, depending on the students' goals and level of English, my lessons can be very fluid and conversational.
I am a French and art history student who has recently become TEFL certified. During my undergraduate studies, I have worked as a Russian language tutor at my university as well as an English editor and language assistant at the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University in Russia. I also am familiar with scientific English, and I served as an introductory biology teaching assistant for 2 years.
