About Lou

Law student appreciating human exchange, I was able to develop my understanding of English thanks to numerous exchanges and trips in linguistic immersion, which allowed me to master spoken English and to speak with fluidity.

In order to achieve the same level in written english, I took a European class as well as a Cambridge diploma preparation class, which led me to obtain the Cambridge level C1 diploma ( advanced) as well as the TOEIC certification.

My passion for the English language led me to choose a license in French law combined with a university degree in common law (English law), which I have been studying for a year now.

About the lesson

My teaching method adapts to the needs of the people I support, so the course of a session differs according to their expectations.

In the past I gave personalized lessons to allow certain pupils to integrate European classes or to overcome difficulties.

I also volunteer for refresher, advanced or legal English courses for older people.

I generally prefer an interactive course, often ending with a synthetic and structured summary sheet. This support can take different forms (written course, summary sheet, table or even mind map) depending on the student's method. I develop this course with the student or beforehand depending on the needs.

The first session is used to target the points that need clarifying as well as the student's expectations, which I formulate in the form of bullet points (grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary theme ...) which I will later work on, one by one at the pace of the student.
