About Rory W
I am an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in both Political Science and French. French has always been a great passion of mine and I have devoted seven years to its study! I have studied French in a variety of different settings from the classroom, summer immersion programs, and even a three-week study abroad in Paris. Additionally, I have experience tutoring French students ranging from those starting at the very basics to those who are aiming to gain more sophistication in their speaking and writing skills.

Learning a language should be fun and not stressful! My typical lesson plan involves a mixture of vocabulary, grammar, and fun activities and games to help students learn through doing. For higher levels of French, the tutoring lessons will also be taught in French if preferred and all students will be encouraged to speak as well as gain proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding skills. I am also available to help a student develop study methods that work for them!
