About Jada
Hello, my name is Jada. I am a motivated and enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals. I believe that learning should feel supportive, engaging, and encouraging, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding.
Alongside my studies, I enjoy creative activities such as cooking, writing, and dancing. These interests help me bring creativity, energy, and patience into my teaching style. I believe that learning can be both productive and enjoyable, and I like to keep lessons positive and engaging.
As a student myself, I understand the pressures that school can bring and the importance of clear explanations and effective study strategies. This allows me to explain topics in a relatable and easy-to-understand way. I focus on helping students build strong foundations in their knowledge while also developing their confidence.
I am organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining a professional approach in every lesson. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their learning and to support them in reaching their full potential.

My lessons follow a clear and supportive structure designed to help students build confidence and gradually develop their language skills. Each lesson is carefully organised so that students first review prior knowledge, then learn new material, and finally practise using it independently.
At the beginning of each lesson, students complete a short **retrieval quiz or recall activity** to review previously learnt vocabulary and grammar. This helps reinforce long-term memory and allows me to quickly assess what the student already understands. It also helps students feel more confident before learning new material.
Next, I introduce the **key language chunk or grammar structure** for the lesson. For example, students might learn how to describe environmental problems in a town using phrases such as *“Dans ma ville il y a…”* or *“il n’y a pas assez de…”*. I explain the language clearly, model pronunciation, and break down difficult words to make them easier to remember.
Students then practise the new language through structured activities such as vocabulary matching, pronunciation practice, or sentence-building exercises. These activities help students become familiar with the vocabulary and understand how sentences are formed.
To develop accuracy, students complete tasks such as **sentence puzzles or translation exercises**. These encourage students to think carefully about word order and meaning while strengthening their understanding of grammar.
Once students feel more confident, they apply the language by answering questions or completing short writing tasks. For example, they may describe where they live, discuss environmental problems in their town, or express opinions about environmental issues. I encourage students to expand their answers using opinions, connectives, and descriptive language.
For students who are ready for a greater challenge, I include extension activities that involve expressing opinions, discussing real-world topics, or analysing issues related to the theme of the lesson. This helps students develop both language skills and critical thinking.
I also include listening-style activities where students identify key words or correct mistakes in sentences. This helps develop their ability to understand spoken language and improves their overall comprehension.
At the end of the lesson, we review the key phrases and vocabulary learnt. This helps reinforce learning and ensures the student leaves the lesson feeling confident about what they have achieved.
This structured approach allows students to build their skills step by step, moving from recognition and understanding to confident speaking and writing.
