About Charlotte
I am Charlotte, a French and Spanish teacher with five years experience in Secondary schools teaching KS3 - A Level. I am open and friendly and love to connect with people which is why I also really enjoy the 1 to 1 side of tutoring and have been doing it for 15 years. I have a First class degree in French and have lived in both France and Spain and so I know what it is like to learn a new language (and have made a million mistakes on the journey to fluency). I was also awarded a distinction in my PGCE teaching degree and awarded the 'Excellence in Teaching' award.

My main aim is to inspire confidence in my pupils. We can all learn a new language to fluency, that is why we can all speak our mother tongue, we just need a bit of support and the desire to do it. My classes are always tailored to my pupil and so in the first free session we start by having a chat about your current level and where you’d like to get to. Then we decide how we will get there and plan in our schedule. We can focus on conversation, writing, listening, reading, grammar or certain themes, whatever it is that you would like to develop.
