About Lindsay
As an experienced teacher, I can help you with a text of your choosing, or I can help you choose one that best suits you. I keep up to date with current pedagogical practices and research about language acquisition. I love what I do! Additionally, my students appreciate me because I believe that ANYONE can learn a new language, and I am happy to show you how and why. I use research about bilingualism in the brain to inform my approach, and I find it important to ask students to consider what work the brain is engaged in as they learn to help them understand how the process unfolds.

My teaching philosophy is that every student comes to class hoping for success. I work with students to find their individual strengths and to capitalize on both their skills and their confidence! As such, I cannot give a "typical lesson plan," because that all depends on the student and their goals. I have taught every age group from preschool to college and am eager to help students discover their language proficiency! I also draw on my experiences teaching Spanish, English, and History to round out my lessons.
