About Nora

I am a French tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature with a Francophone focus. I specialize in teaching complete beginners and helping them feel comfortable from the very first lesson. My approach is patient, supportive, and often light-hearted. I like to keep things simple and enjoyable.

I teach French through creative hobbies and everyday activities. Whether you enjoy knitting, gardening, painting, or similar interests, I build lessons around what you love. I use project-based learning so you can actively use the language while creating something meaningful. This makes learning feel practical and fun.

I include visual aids to help you understand tools, materials, and actions. I also use short, simple stories to introduce grammar and vocabulary naturally. This helps you remember words and structures without feeling overwhelmed. You learn by doing and expressing.

My students grow confident in talking about their passions in French. They learn at their own pace and feel proud of their progress. I focus on making learning a positive experience. Let’s discover the joy of learning French through your favorite pastimes.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on learning French through real-world content and meaningful conversation. I use contemporary French media such as news articles, interviews, and short videos to bring lessons to life. This helps students connect the language with current events and everyday topics. Lessons are active and engaging.

We work on reading and understanding news, while building strong vocabulary and grammar. I guide students in expressing opinions clearly and confidently. You will learn how to agree, disagree, and explain your ideas in simple and effective French. Respectful discussion is an important part of every lesson.

I also teach how to analyze media, including tone, context, and different perspectives. This helps students think critically while improving their language skills. We explore how ideas are presented in French-speaking cultures. This makes learning deeper and more meaningful.

I support learners who are adjusting to new environments or using French in professional settings. Lessons are practical and focused on real communication. We read, discuss, and learn together. My goal is to help you speak with confidence and understand the world through French
