About Noah
Bonjour à toutes et à tous! I’m Noah, a French conversation coach trained at Georgetown and the Sorbonne. If you feel nervous speaking French, I’ll help you find your voice through relaxed, engaging conversations. I focus on building confidence, natural expression, and cultural insights, not just textbook rules. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or simply want to enjoy speaking French, our sessions will give you the guidance and encouragement you need to progress.

My lessons are designed for anyone who wants to improve their French, whether for travel, work, or personal growth. As a non-native speaker who has gone through the full process of learning French myself, I bring a practical perspective: I know exactly where the challenges are and how to overcome them.
Our first session is simply a benchmark to get a sense of your current level and goals. From there, I’ll create a tailored plan based on what you want to achieve and how many sessions you’d like.
For example, if your goal is to speak comfortably before a trip to Paris, I might:
1. Ask about your past experience and current knowledge of French.
2. Focus on the most useful everyday words and phrases (starting with the 100 most common).
3. Add in cultural must-knows from my own experience, the little phrases that make a big difference, like “Avec ceci ?” at a café.
4. Practice through role-play and mock scenarios so you feel confident in real conversations.
Each lesson is flexible, interactive, and built to help you speak with confidence.
