About Malika
I am currently a first year student in uOttawa, in an engineering major (that is bilingual). I have been working with children for the past five years in various teaching activities with my local volunteering center, and when it comes to teaching specifically, I used to be in the Cadets, which includes a teaching position for anyone in senior years like me.

What's most important for me is to follow the student's pace, which means to not dwell on a concept on exercise just because it is in the schedule and conversely not moving forward unless sure that the previous teachings are solid. I think that students learn in a variety of different ways, which is why I do my best to be flexible. For some, tutoring means going over homework, understanding their mistakes and recaping at the end the concepts applied, and others would prefer a teaching method where things are taught, then practiced, then tested. Overall, what I'll provide would be the insights and the practice, so it works for any preference of session you have.
