About Céleste

Originally from Nancy located in the North-East of France, I studied political science in Reims for two years in a Europe-North America program; therefore, I am fluent in English. I am particularly interested in literary studies, history and languages which is why I majored in political humanities. I'm currently spending my third year at the University of Western Ontario in London and studying Media, Information and Technoculture. I am 20 years old so I hope that my young age will help me understanding students better, building relationships with them more easily and establishing a certain trust between us.

About the lesson

My courses are aimed at all ages and all levels. I therefore try to adapt myself as much as possible to each student, to identify their difficulties in order to try to solve the problems they encounter. I work in a structured and organized way in order to achieve precise objectives set beforehand at each session. I will make sure to prepare each lesson and exercise in advance, to make learning French as playful as possible and to be patient; I don't mind going back over certain misunderstandings even if it takes a little longer than expected. For beginners, I usually divide my lessons into three stages: vocabulary, grammar/conjugation and the last fifteen minutes or so are devoted to oral expression and comprehension. For more advanced levels, I prefer to focus on past difficulties or homework help. I am highly motivated and hope that my lessons will lead to real progress and results.
