About Roshni

As a French citizen raised in an international and multilingual environment, I bring both native fluency and a strong understanding of language learning to my lessons. Having studied and become proficient in multiple languages myself — including English, Spanish and Chinese — I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them effectively. This allows me to explain French clearly, patiently and in a way that is tailored to each individual student.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence and genuinely enjoy learning. My teaching style is supportive, organized and adaptable, ensuring that every lesson is structured around the student’s goals, whether that is improving school performance, preparing for exams, strengthening conversational fluency or learning French for travel or personal interest.
I take professionalism seriously and always aim to create a positive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace. Lessons are well-prepared, engaging and personalized, with clear explanations and practical exercises designed to help students steadily improve. I believe consistency, encouragement and communication are key to successful learning, and I strive to make every lesson both productive and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I’m a friendly and patient French tutor who focuses on building confidence as well as strong language skills. As a native French speaker and multilingual student fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Chinese, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapt my teaching style to suit each student individually. I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and interactive rather than purely memorization-based.
My lessons typically combine speaking, listening, reading and writing practice to help students develop practical communication skills alongside grammar and vocabulary. I use real-life conversations, tailored exercises, pronunciation practice and structured revision depending on the student’s goals. For younger students or beginners, I like to keep lessons dynamic and approachable, while more advanced students may focus on exam preparation, essay writing, oral fluency or deeper grammatical understanding.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, although longer or shorter sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs. I teach students of all ages and levels, including beginners, school students, VCE students and adults wanting to improve conversational French or travel confidence.
As a French citizen with an international background, I bring both native-level fluency and cultural understanding to my teaching. I also have experience learning multiple languages myself, which helps me explain concepts clearly and relate to different learning styles. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel motivated, supported and excited to improve their French skills.
