I was someone who struggled with statistical maths in Geography A level, and maths in general when having to retake my Maths GCSEs, despite geography being a subject which Laura has not studies, nor GCSEs maths a syllabus she has undergone (having moved here from France), her maths proficiency was so excellent she took the time to look at what statistical maths contained and the Edexcel GCSE syllabus, and thus aid me with understanding it. As a tutor Laura regularly would meet up me within in and out of a school forum on a fortnightly basis to help me gasp an understanding of basic maths, and therefore aid me. She elevates what it means to be a tutor, not simply looking after my educational needs, but elevating helping me with a more pastoral role, and catering a tutoring regime specific to me. By this, she would focus on parts of maths which I did most bad at, and would make me do an exam to see which areas I would struggle with. This might not speak to her as a French tutor, but I believe Laura would be an equally great French tutor, as she already exceeds what it means to be a tutor
