About Yasmin

I studied French at University and graduated with a 2:1. I obtained an A* in French GCSE and an A at A-Levels. Currently, I work primarily as a HLTA in a secondary school and assist with French GCSEs and A Levels. As a babysitter I also teach children French through games and music, working with children from ages 1-11. I have helped several children develop their French skills, particularly in oral and listening.

About the lesson

I am someone who personally appreciates all the different styles of learning (auditory, visual etc.) when studying and so I aim to accommodate for the style of my student. You can rest assured that in our introductory lesson I will take into account the learning preferences of my student to tailor their lessons accordingly to assure the greatest achievements! My teaching method varies from level to level but I am a big advocate for independent learning with my guidance. My tutees can expect to learn through discussion and presentation, and then receive work to complete independently in class and as homework, with me correcting them afterwards.
