Hello, my name is Sophie Austin and I am a qualified secondary school Languages teacher with 10 years' experience of both classroom teaching and running a languages department in a large secondary school. I am passionate about teaching languages and believe that learning another language opens up a wealth of opportunity in this multicultural world.

I have a wealth of experience in developing schemes of work, building KS3, KS4 and KS5 curricula and adapting lessons for the needs of all students. In my tutoring, I offer 50 minute online lessons, focusing on learning vocabulary and applying that knowledge to the four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. My focus is GCSE and A level but I am open to also tutoring adults who want to start learning French from scratch.
