As a world language instructor, I believe my students should be exposed to and engage with the target language and cultures as much as possible, enabling them to communicate in the language in authentic, contextualized ways. I remain a life-long learner, and take a very practical stance to language learning, giving students the means to begin speaking and understanding French as quickly as possible.
I have taught French 101 & 102 at UNC Chapel Hill to over 100 students during the completion of my Master's in French and Arabic studies. I also recently returned from a year abroad in France, where I took the time to perfect my conversational French.
