I am a Masters' student in International Law and History currently doing an internship in New York. I have a Bachelors' degree in History and Latin, and I come from Paris, France.

I give lessons to students in high school or 1st year of university.
My methodology is based on a 3-steps approach :
1) Going with the student through the goals (test, degree, personal aim, etc.) they want to achieve.
2) Set up a work plan. For example, during my French lessons, the student will read a couple pages of a French novel/poetry book/newspaper at the beginning of every lesson. That helps with pronunciation and fluidity of speaking skills. Then, we will go through the details of the text together to understand the content. Finally, we will discuss the broader historical context of the piece, depending on the nature of the piece: article, poem...
3) My goal is to engage as much as possible with the student on all the different skills: writing, listening, speaking, reading.
