About Tracey
I am excited to bring my language skills to any students who feel they need extra support in their French learning. I am chatty and friendly, calm and professional, engaging and able to explain lessons clearly.
I am confident that I have the skills and qualities to offer students a positive and successful tutoring experience. In particular I have worked for many years with young children as a registered childminder, so I understand the way that children learn. I also have experience working with college students and adults so I can adapt my lessons to what the student needs. I'm very flexible, and happy to discuss any options you would like to consider. I am calm and patient and able to explain tricky concepts in a clear way. I can engage students in interesting lessons, ensuring that anything they are struggling with can be tackled with confidence. Lessons can be 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and we can decide together what you would best like to cover during our lessons.
I am happy to help secondary students up to GCSE level with any topic or issue they find difficult, or I can help you with vocab practice or use games and activities to help your knowledge grow; I can help primary students, whether they're from a bilingual family or they're just starting their language journey; or I can make language learning fun for preschoolers and toddlers; and I can help adult learners with their studies too.
I can offer lessons for homeschooled students too.
I have previously helped run a French conversation club for primary school students, I've tutored Italian college students for their English literature studies, and run English conversation classes for Italian taxi drivers.
