About Siya

I hold an M.A. in French Linguistics and Education and have 13 years of experience teaching French to students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. My academic training allows me to clearly explain complex grammatical structures while keeping lessons practical, engaging, and relevant to everyday communication. My teaching style is patient, organized, and learner-centered. I take time to understand each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges so I can adapt lessons to their pace and learning style. I strongly believe confidence grows through understanding, not pressure, and I create a safe environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to French through literature, media, language research, and cultural studies. Teaching French is deeply fulfilling because I witness students grow from uncertainty to confident expression. Supporting their language journey and cultural curiosity is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

About the lesson

My French lessons are carefully designed to help students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated while learning the language step by step. I focus on grammar clarity, verb conjugation, pronunciation accuracy, listening comprehension, reading development, and conversational confidence. Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing students to fully understand concepts before applying them in real communication. I encourage frequent speaking so learners gradually overcome hesitation and gain natural fluency.

For beginners, lessons focus on sentence construction, pronunciation patterns, essential vocabulary, and everyday conversational phrases. Intermediate learners expand their understanding of verb tenses, listening accuracy, reading comprehension, and guided discussion skills. Advanced students refine fluency, idiomatic expression, writing organization, and cultural nuance through in-depth conversation and contextual analysis. Each lesson balances explanation, repetition, and meaningful practice to support long-term retention.

Learning French also builds confidence, memory, and cross-cultural awareness. Students often develop stronger communication skills and a deeper appreciation for language learning. My goal is to help learners feel relaxed using French in academic, professional, and social settings, while enjoying steady, sustainable progress.
