About Eloise

My interest in French began with a fascination for language structure, literature, and cultural exchange. I earned an M.A. in French Linguistics and Cultural Studies, which deepened my understanding of both theoretical and practical language use. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided learners from diverse backgrounds toward fluency and confidence. I believe language learning should feel encouraging and human. Many students feel nervous speaking at first, so I create a calm environment where mistakes are part of progress. I adapt explanations and activities to suit individual learning styles. Outside teaching, I remain connected to French through reading, media, and cultural exploration. Teaching French is rewarding because I see learners gain confidence and independence in communication. Helping students express themselves clearly is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

About the lesson

French lessons become engaging when learners feel supported in using the language naturally and confidently. My lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, with special attention to pronunciation, grammar clarity, and vocabulary development. I emphasize practical communication so students can apply French in real conversations rather than relying on memorization alone. Lessons are structured, friendly, and paced carefully to support steady progress and comfort. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s proficiency. Beginners work on pronunciation, basic sentence construction, essential grammar, and everyday vocabulary. Intermediate learners strengthen fluency, verb usage, listening comprehension, and written expression. Advanced learners refine complex grammar, idiomatic language, academic or professional communication, and cultural nuance. Guided practice, repetition, and correction are included to reinforce understanding. French lessons also develop cultural awareness and expressive confidence. Students become more comfortable sharing ideas and understanding perspectives from French-speaking cultures. My goal is to help learners feel relaxed, capable, and motivated as they grow into confident French communicators.
