About Eden

I hold a B.A in French Studies and an M.A in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, inspired by my lifelong fascination with the French language, literature, and culture. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided learners from basic understanding to advanced proficiency, combining structured grammar instruction, vocabulary expansion, cultural immersion, and interactive practice. My approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and personalized strategies to help each student reach their full potential.

I design lessons that integrate reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural exploration. Using roleplay, discussion, multimedia, and authentic materials, I create an environment where students feel confident to express themselves, explore the language, and apply it in real-world situations. Each lesson balances technical accuracy with practical usage, helping learners develop fluency and self-assurance.

Beyond teaching, I immerse myself in French literature, media, and cultural experiences, bringing authentic insights and contemporary context into the classroom. About the lesson

Learning French becomes immersive and enjoyable when students can explore not only grammar and vocabulary but also cultural context and authentic communication. I emphasize verb conjugation, sentence structure, idiomatic usage, reading comprehension, oral expression, listening skills, and writing proficiency. For beginners, lessons focus on pronunciation, foundational grammar, essential vocabulary, sentence formation, and basic conversational skills. Intermediate learners expand their abilities with more complex grammar structures, enriched vocabulary, reading practice, conversation fluency, and structured writing exercises. Advanced learners engage with literature, nuanced oral communication, professional and academic writing, and stylistic interpretation.
