About Zarna
I hold an M.A in French Studies and Applied Linguistics and have 11 years of experience teaching French to students across diverse age groups and skill levels. My teaching philosophy focuses on combining structured instruction with interactive exercises and cultural immersion, ensuring learners develop both language proficiency and contextual understanding. I aim to provide lessons that are engaging, tailored, and responsive to individual learning styles and goals. I emphasize patience, encouragement, and active participation. The sessions are carefully tailored to the individual’s proficiency level and learning objectives, ensuring sustained progress and meaningful learning outcomes.
Beginners focus on essential grammar, basic vocabulary, foundational sentence construction, pronunciation, and introductory conversational practice to create a solid linguistic base. Intermediate learners expand into complex sentence patterns, more fluid conversation, idiomatic usage, advanced reading, and writing exercises. Advanced learners refine their skills in nuanced expression, stylistic writing, comprehension of authentic texts, advanced grammar, and the subtle cultural nuances that enrich language use.
